- Survived by: Wife Dr. Amanda B. Freeman; children Joshua, Daniel and wife Natalie, and Adam Freeman; grandchildren Gil Parker and Delia Freeman; and sisters Joanne Grossman and husband Marvin, and Judith Freedman and husband Merton.
David was very active at the Social Action Committee at Temple Israel. An accomplished pianist, he played for many charitable causes including nursing homes, Lahey Clinic, and Boston Piano Amateur Society. He was a trusted and caring physician for many years. David and his beloved wife provided medical care to families needing assistance after natural disasters in Latin America.
Services were held at Temple Shalom in Newton on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at noon. Following interment, memorial observance was held at David and Amandas residence until 7 p.m. and continued Thursday and Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.
