Bailey is a 6-month-old reddish brown puppy who was lost on Sept. 17 from Saugus. He was seen by several people in Lynnfield on Sept. 27 but hasn't been spotted since.
A young man from Newton called last night (10/11) saying he believed that he saw Bailey on Auburnale Ave. Newton. He chased him - which we should NOT do - and the dog ran to Lexington Street and disappeared.
If you have seen a dog who looks like Bailey in Newton, PLEASE DO NOT CHASE HIM. Call us at 978-231-1375 or 978-265-6081 or 978-745-9888 RIGHT AWAY with his exact location and dog rescuers will come out immediately.
It's a long distance from Saugus/Lynnfield but possible that this lost puppy somehow wound up in Newton.
