The Newton All-Stars started their season going undefeated in the tournament and winning the championship game 10-2.
The team is comprised of the top players from each of the five Newton little leagues. The city All Stars are managed by Gerry Sack with assistant coaches Bill Cleary, Dave Goldblatt and Rich Graber. The team is scheduled to play two more tournaments this year.
