Over 50 local artists, gallery owners, press, friends & students of the New Art Center attened the preview event of the new exhibit: "Upsodown" - a celebration of the transformative power of CARNIVAL, on Thursday night, Jan. 10.

Rave reviews of the show were given throughout the night.

Kathleen Smith, exhibitions director, Co-Curators Kate True & AJ Liberto & Kim Comart, Executive Director all made brief remarks introducing the show & Curatorial Opportunities Program.

The exhibit is now open to the public. Also open is "In Praise of Folly" featuring the artwork of faculty member Carol Blackwell and New Art Center student Gail Hansen.
