UPDATED: Bomb Threat Evacuates Countryside Elementary, All Kids OK

The call came in around 9:03 a.m. but all students are now back in the building and safe.

Updated 12:16 p.m. with more information from Newton Police

According to Newton Police, the incident at Countryside Elementary School started when an 8-year-old boy told another student he had a bomb, when in fact the "bomb" was a motor to a toy car.

Police said the other student knew the motor was not a bomb, but has been taught to report any bomb threats to teachers.
