Finalists for Newton North Vice Principal Job to Visit School
One of the finalists is a principal here in Newton.
Administrators have narrowed the search for Newton North's new vice principal and two finalists were announced this evening in an email from North Principal Jennifer Price.
According to the email, the two finalists are Midge Connolly, the current principal at Newton's Williams Elementary School, and Steve Martin, a principal intern and accounting teacher in the Hudson Public Schools.
Connolly and Martin are up for the job currently held by Deborah Holman, who accepted a job earlier this year as the new headmaster at Brookline High School.
Price said in her email that the two vice principal finalists will visit Newton North this week, with Connolly stopping by tomorrow and Martin on Wednesday.
Price invited the North community to attend these meetings and provide feedback on the two candidates. The meetings will take place in the International Cafe and begin at 7:30 a.m.
