  1. Today is the special state primary for the 10th Middlesex District state rep. seat! Check out Patch's coverage of all the candidates, including Q&As and video interviews. If you're unsure as to where you should vote today in Newton, we can help with the voting locations for the three precincts included in the election.   2. Mayor Setti Warren will meet with the sponsors of the annual Mayor's Prayer Breakfast to thank them for their support. The appreciation event will take place at Temple Shalom at 8 a.m.
  3. Looking to meet fellow supporters of legislative action for a sustainable climate? Join members of the United Parish of Auburndale for a letter writing party from 7:30-9 p.m. to write letters supporting movements for climate solutions. The event, which takes place at the United Parish of Auburndale, is affiliated with Citizens Climate Lobby and is free and open to the public. 
  4. The Newton South High School girls lacrosse team will travel to Arlington this afternoon at 4 p.m. Stay tuned to Newton Patch for game coverage. 
  5. At 5 p.m., Mayor Setti Warren will host a public viewing of the new online CitiStat feature in room 209 of City Hall
