- The Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce will host Spring Seasonings -- A Taste of Newton, Needham and Beyond! today from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Boston-Newton Marriott Hotel. Local chefs, restaurants and food service businesses will be at the hotel with demonstrations, samples and more. The cost for the event is $35 at the door.
- Virgin Galactic CEO George T. Whitesides (a Newton North alum) will speak today at 12:15 p.m. in the Newton North High School auditorium.
- Newton-Wellesley Hospital's Women's Imaging Center will offer a limited number of screening mammogram appointments today from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Call 617-243-5345 to book an appointment.
