Frances (Cressey) Seasholes, 79, Active Newton Resident

Seasholes was an active member in a number of Newton PTAs, organizations, committees and the League of Women voters.

 

Frances (Cressley) Seasholes, 79, of Newton, passed away on November 13. 

According to her obituary, Seasholes was an active Newton resident and participated in a number of community groups and organizations including: the Bowen, Weeks and Newton South PTAs, the League of Women Voters, Newton Conservators, Green Decade Newton and the Newton Community Development Foundation. 

Seasholes, who lived in Newton for 56 years, worked as a child welfare social worker. In recent years, she traveled with her late husband Bradbury Seasholes and provided homestays for more than 200 foreign students, her obituary said. 

She is survived by four children and two grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held for Frances at the Second Church in Newton on Dec. 3, 2012 at 7 p.m. 

According to her obituary, messages to the family can be sent to BradFran3@yahoo.com. Memorial donations can be made in Frances' name to one's charity of choice.
