Nathaniel Alden Hoover Pangburn, 26, of Newton, passed away on Feb. 1, 2013.
Pangburn was a 2004 graduate of Newton North High School, according to his obituary, and loved spending time outdoors hiking, sailing and swimming.
Aside from his love for the outdoors, Pangburn was devoted to animals. He also enjoyed playing music, baking and reading about literature, philosophy, history and politics, his obituary read.
Pangburn is survived by his mother, Claudia W. Hoover, of Newton, father David A. Pangburn, of Harvard, sisters Margaret and Liv Pangburn, of Newton, and grandmother Elizabeth.
