, Honeycutt said he plans to integrate a number of craft beers into the tap rotation, including several brews from New England-based breweries.

The craft beer theme is familiar for this Walnut Street spot; one of the site's previous tenants, The Newtonville Times, was actually a satellite location for another Waltham brewpub, Watch City Brewery.

Honeycutt told Patch that he hopes the new pub will act as a gathering place for the village of Newtonville, as well as bring a bit of nightlife to the area. The restaurant plans to be open until 1 a.m. Monday-Saturday, and Sundays until midnight.

According to the Facebook post, Brewer's Coalition will open daily at 11:30 a.m. staring tomorrow, Aug. 13.
