Newton Highland's Staccato is Moving On

The boutique is relocating to Wellesley.

After 24 years on Lincoln Street in Newton Highlands,  is moving to a new home.

The boutique's new location will be in Wellesley's Linden Square, near Fitness for Women.

“My lease was up, and I just had this fabulous opportunity in Linden Square that was too good to pass up,” owner Jani Margolin explained when asked about the move.

Margolin’s goal is to close the Newton Highlands location by the end of April and reopen right away in Wellesley on May 1st.

Before that, though, Margolin is planning on having a mid-April sale to reduce some of their merchandise and make the move that much easier.

“We wont be selling the new spring stuff,” she says, “but we’re definitely going to have some good deals.”

The spring will be a big transitional period all around for Margolin: her oldest child will be hearing from colleges and making the decision where to matriculate.

“In a way, it’s fitting,” Margolin comments. “I opened Staccato before I had kids, and when my first is getting ready to leave the nest, well, I’m getting a new nest!”
