Newton Mayor Makes Appearance in Times Square

Mayor Warren had a few seconds of fame in Time Square, thanks to Mount Ida College.

 

Newton Mayor Setti Warren recently made a big appearance in New York City's Times Square -- and he didn't even have to leave his office at City Hall.

Warren was recently featured on one of the Times Square Jumbotrons as part of an ad package promoting the Mount Ida College 2013 Commencement, where Warren will be the featured speaker.

According to the Mount Ida College Marketing and Communications Department, the photo was posted on the Reuters sign in Time Square as part of Mount Ida's distribution package through PR Newswire. 

Warren will receive an honorary Doctor of Social Science degree at the Mount Ida ceremony, which will be held Friday, May 17 at 11 a.m.
