Newton's Top Runners in the 2012 Boston Marathon
More than 130 Newton residents were registered to run yesterday.

Finishing any marathon is certainly a feat. But finishing a marathon in 90-degree weather is a whole different story.
Congratulations to the numerous Newton residents who ran yesterday's 116th Boston Marathon. More than 130 were signed up to participate and many of those runners managed to cross the finish line despite the difficult and unhealthy weather conditions.
We tracked some runner progress along the way, but below is a list of the Garden City's top 10 male and female finishers.
