Parking, Traffic Notices for Myra Kraft Funeral
The funeral will be held at Temple Emmanuel in Newton.
Traffic on Commonwealth Avenue in Newton today will likely be backed up from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the Myra Kraft funeral at Temple Emanuel.
Kraft, a Brookline resident and wife of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, died of cancer Wednesday morning at the age of 68.
The funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. and there will be limited satellite parking available at the Boston College Law School, according to the Patriots' web site. Shuttle service will be offered from the law school to the temple.
Large, electronic signs have been placed along Commonwealth Avenue alerting drivers to heavy traffic conditions during the funeral service hours. Commuters are encouraged to seek alternate routes, if possible.
In lieu of flowers, the Kraft family has asked that donations be made in Myra’s name at the Myra Kraft Giving Back Scholarship Fund at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston.
