As it has been over the last few weeks, this week's Patch Picks was a little difficult to put together; Newton has a plethora of spas and to pick only five meant that some great places would most certainly be left out.

Nevertheless, five is the number. So, we want you, the readers, to comment in the box below with your favorite places in Newton to pamper yourself and relax. For now, though, here are our selections:

1. Christine's Day Spa, Newton Centre
   Located right downtown in Piccadilly Square, Chrstine's offers a wide variety of spa treatments for both men and women. The spa offers everything from the standard mani/pedi to the less-common semi-permanent eyelash extensions. Check out the spa's website for special deals and packages. 
2. Skin Innovations, Newton Highlands
   Located on Winchester Street, Skin Innovations is a soothing spot to receive organic facials and relaxing massages. In addition to offering services for men, this Newton Highlands spot also sells all-natural beauty items and mineral makeup. 3. Bella Skin, Newton Centre
   Bella Skin recently announced that it is moving from its Beacon Street location to a new spot at 1349 Centre St. The spa expects to be in its new location by April 4, according to its website. Once they're done setting up shop, you can pop over for a facial or therapeutic massage.  
4. Ciao Bella, Nonantum
   If you're looking to get away from the slew of spas in Newton Centre, you can head out to Watertown Street and visit with Silva and Carla at Ciao Bella. The spa, which has been around for seven years, offers full services including hair, skin and nails. 
5. La Residencia, Newton Upper Falls
   Whether you want a day for yourself, time with a friend or a couples massage, La Residencia has it all. This Upper Falls spa offers a extensive list of services, including health messages as well as anti-aging and medical skin care. Special offers and themed spa days are often available.
