This is a significant improvement to the focus on local. Great move. I think I'm more likey to watch Patchcast, too now, because the highlight selection pool is so vastly increased, almost sevenfold!

No, I'm referring to the fact that since it's airing once a week and has the same pool of stories from which to choose, the highlights will be more selective. In other words, the best of the best just became the best of the best of the best.

Another way to say it is that PatchCast used to have a day's stories from which to choose, but henceforth will have a week's stories from which to choose.
