Photo Gallery: Fourth of July Festivities in Newton
A look at some of the Fourth of July events around town
Newton residents and others from nearby areas celebrated the Fourth of July with games for children, amusement park rides, crafts and food.
A Childrens Morning was held at which included a variety of parades -- including a decorated bicycle parade and a teddy bear parade -- as well as races for 3-12 year olds.
At Albemarle Field, amusement park rides were set up and there were also a wide variety of vendors and local organizations with different booths.
