Vicki Kennedy and Pan-Mass Challenge Founder Billy Star joined Mayor Setti Warren Tuesday for a reception thanking Newton's Pan-Mass Challenge participants. Newton is a community with high PMC participation; 160 riders are already signed up for this year.

Mayor Setti Warren held a reception for Newton Pan-Mass Challenge participants at Newton City Hall on Tues., April 3, 2012. The event included food, music as well as special guests Victoria Kennedy, Dana Farber Doctor Lee Nadler and PMC Founder Billy Starr. So far this year, Newton already has 160 residents signed up for the summer race. The average Newton rider, Starr pointed out, has been with the race for 11 years.
