More than 80 people attended the Think Pink breast cancer awareness event at Newton-Wellesley Hospital on Oct. 18. The free evening featured jazz music, wine, hors d'oeuvres as well as Reiki and massage demonstrations and nutrition and fitness information. 

The event also featured information on the hospital's Vernon Cancer Center, Auerbach Breast Center and Manton Women's Imaging Center.

Following the reception, participants heard from Dr. Cela Doppelt and Dr. Jami Rubens for a health panel discussion on topics such as: hormones, wellness and vitality, and new technologies in breast imaging.
