Police Log: Woman Threatens to Burn Down Four Corners Pizza

Police responded to Four Corners Pizza Wednesday after a woman allegedly threatened to burn the pizza place down.

A Boston woman was arrested on two warrants after officers responded to a fight she allegedly started at Four Corners Pizza, police said.

According to police reports, an employee at Four Corners told officers that four black females had walked into the restaurant Tuesday night with food from somewhere else, sat down and started eating.

After the employee "nicely" asked the girls to leave, one girl -- later identified as Glendoria Quarles -- began to argue with the employee and said that she was going to come back to the pizza place and burn it down, reports said.

Quarles, 18, of 39 Standish St. #1, will also be charged with threats to commit a crime after the argument at Four Corners, police said.

House Break-in on Burnham Road

A laptop computer and several pieces of jewelry were stolen from a Burnham Road home sometime Wednesday, police said.

According to reports, a woman told police her and her husband left their home around 8:10 a.m. with all the doors locked (but the alarm shut off.) The dog walker, who arrived at 11:30 a.m., noticed the back door open and secured it.

When the homeowner arrived home at 5 p.m., she found all the jewelry drawers ruffled through with several items missing. The thief, who appeared to use a pillowcase to take the stolen jewelry, took a Tissot watch, 2 gold watches, a Rolex watch, 30 pairs of earrings, 15 bracelets and 15 rings that contained gold and other precious metals, reports said. The homeowners also said their Apple laptop computer was missing from the downstairs living room.
