POLL: Best Place in Newton for Memorial Day 'Grillables'

Vote for your favorite local business, leave a review in our Patch Directory and tell everyone how you feel in the comments section below.

The "unofficial start of summer" -- a.k.a. Memorial Day -- is just around the corner. What will you be grilling?

Each week, our Best Of/Readers' Choice poll asks Patch readers for their favorite Newton businesses and destinations. So far, our faithful voters have selected the city's best sandwich, best liquor store, best Mother's Day brunch and best outdoor hidden gem, to name a few.

But this week is all about the grill -- where do you get those "grillables" when prepping for the annual Memorial Day cookout?

Remember, meat is not the only thing that is better on the grill. If it's veggies you like, tell us where the best grillable eggplants are in the Garden City.

Keep in mind that the votes in the poll are not the sole factor in considering our Readers' Choice winner. The final title is determined by the poll numbers as well as reviews in our Patch Directory and positive comments below this story.

The poll closes 9 a.m. Friday and the winner will be announced at noon. Please be sure to read the rules of the Readers' Choice contest in the .pdf document above.

Now, the nominees for this week's poll, complete with their Patch Directory pages:
