Whether or not you celebrate Easter, this time of year is great for those of us with a big sweet tooth.
Last week, we asked our readers to choose the best place in Newton to buy candy. Unfortunately, someone (or some people) took advantage of our poll and gamed the system. Therefore, we had to discount our poll results and not declare a winner.
So, this week we are asking our readers to vote again. We took the top two businesses from last week's contest (Indulge and Sweet Tart) and will have them face off in this week's rematch poll.
Here's how it works. Vote in the poll below. Add comments supporting your decision and influencing other Newton residents to see that you're right, after all.
The poll closes at 9 a.m. Friday. Because this poll isn't scientific, it isn't the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor (that's me, Melanie Graham), based on poll results and reviews in the Directory. Comments are also factored in during close races and used as tiebreakers, so if you vote please leave a comment!

Indulge is a FANTASTIC candy store, I have been going there ever since I was a little kid and I love everything about it. They have fresh candy and the nicest employees ever. This store truly deserves every vote.

Indulge has everything you could want in a candy store. Candy from your childhood, new stuff, basically what ever you want. We use their gift baskets for just about any occasion. Who doesn't love candy!

INDULGE !!!! There's no place like it in the world. It has something for everyone from ALL kinds of candy, gourmet items, gifts, cards, and so much more. Linda and her staff are just the sweetest, you are always greated with a smile If you haven't been to INDULGE you have no idea what you are missing.... :)

Indulge has been a longstanding asset to Newton Highlands.Fabulous and creative staff,wonderful gifts and clean and appealing ambiance. A true treat, and oh the candy!!!!!!!!
