I nominate MiniLuxe in Newton Center for their Extreme Clean focus on environment, instruments, hands. I was out of town so had to visit another nail salon- when the nail technician used a nail filer that had been used for someone else, I just freaked and begged her to use a new one. I was never such a clean freak at nail salons before I started going to MiniLuxe - their equipment either in sealed sterile packages or are disposables. --Myrtha Chang

I nominate Unique Nails in West Newton. Inexpensive professional and friendly service. Even with the management change, they have been great.

I nominate Coco Nail & Spa in Newton Highlands. They are clean, clean, clean. Always new disposable equipment and they use sealed, sterile packages. They even use disposable liners in their Pedi chairs! Their attention to detail and customer service it top notch. The employees go the extra mile to make your stay special and I just love the atmosphere there! Their products are as chemical free as possible and some are even organic! Coco is a start-up but from what I can see all my friends love it there and are spreading the word like wildfire!
