Who Makes the Best Burgers in Newton?

We want to know your favorite spots for burgers in The Garden City.

Each Thursday, Newton Patch features a list of some of the best local businesses, organizations, services and destinations in our Patch Picks of the week.

As summer moves along and the barbecues continue to stay hot, it's time for us to find out where we can get the best of that summer staple: burgers!

This week, we want to know who makes the best burger in Newton. Whether its beef, buffalo, chicken, turkey or veggie -- tell us why you love it and where we can find it.

Share your favorite Newton burger joints in the comments section below! Or, you can always e-mail us with your favorites.

Remember, Patch Picks runs on Thursdays -- so be sure to get your favorites in ASAP.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help us with this! You don't want to hear where *I* like to go for burgers; you want to hear where *everyone* likes to go for burgers, right?!

I agree...Met Bar has wonderful burgers, but is that Brookline or Newton?

Great question -- I'll admit I'm not a Chestnut Hill expert, but I believe Met is technically in Brookline. Perhaps we can cross the line a little bit if the burger is one of the best around?

I'm planning to include it. Burgers that good are definitely worth "crossing the border" for! ;)

Well, here's another "crossing the border" candidate - Wild Willy's has the vote from our family. We were just there and their burgers are the best around here that we know. My personal favorite is the Willy's, a classic burger with everything on it.

Chris, they're actually MY favorite too, but I figured the Needham Patch needed to include them ;)
