Newton resident Peter Hayashi has a condition called allodynia. Light touch and temperature change are excruciatingly painful for him. Medical marijuana has helped alleviate his pain and improve his quality of life. With only a couple days left until Election Day, I wanted to let you know someone in your community has been sharing their story and letting voters know how medical marijuana has greatly impacted their life. Please check out Peter and other patients at www.compassionforpatients.com. Please feel free to post any of our videos on your site or link to them in articles over the weekend.
This initiative will be the safest medical marijuana law in the country, and we believe that patients in Massachusetts deserve the same secure access to medical marijuana as their neighbors in Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island and Connecticut. The Committee for Compassionate Medicine is a coalition of medical professionals, public health groups, patients, and caregivers that have joined together to support Question 3.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
