Circus Silks - Monday Sessions

This class was developed from aerial arts using aerial silks seen in circuses and performances worldwide. Kids will learn how to use the fabric in different movements and skills while being suspended above the floor. This is a unique program that combines gymnastics, aerial arts, stretching, and strengthening skills all into one incredible program. Held in the Children’s Gym at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton on Mondays, September 24-December 17 from 3:30-4:15pm, Wednesdays, September 19-December 19 from 2:05-2:55pm and Fridays, September 21-December 21 from 1:15-2pm. Costs vary from $170-$220 for members and $210-$270 for nonmembers, depending upon session selected. Geared for children ages 4-5 years. Open to the entire community. All JCC arts and humanities offerings are programs of the Ryna Greenbaum JCC Center for the Arts.
