Mobiles can add balance, movement, relaxation and beauty to any environment indoors or outdoors. Many people like mobiles but don’t know how to make them. In this workshop, students will learn important practical secrets and principles of mobile making so they can create pieces with any elements that interest them. During this workshop you will create beautiful, fun floating pieces and kinetic sculptures. All materials are provided. All levels are welcome.

Located on Washington Park in Newton, the New Art Center is a non-profit community space that opened 33 years ago.
