Discover a colorful and fun way to paint without a brush! Come learn and practice ancient techniques of wet felting to create inviting, illustrative works inspired by our surroundings. By layering, lathering, and rolling wool roving together, we will discover how fibers react to one another to produce a watercolor-like effect. Bring an idea or image to work from, and leave with a small felted painting of your very own!

Located on Washington Park in Newton, the New Art Center is a non-profit community space that opened 33 years ago.
