• No-cost, cost-effective air sealing to reduce drafts (if you qualify for insulation)

• 75% off – up to $2000 – for insulation for each Unit!

• 0% financing on heating system replacements & other qualified energy improvements.

The City of Newton and its co-sponsors Mass Energy, Next Step Living and the Newton Eco-project will provide energy efficiency specialists to answer your questions about improving the energy performance of your properties. We will work with your tenants to obtain the right rebates for your building!

Newton Cultural Center is a community and resource center. It houses ten cultural, educational and humanistic organizations, namely the Mayor's Office for Cultural Affairs, Newton Community Pride, Green Decade/Newton, The Jackson Homestead and Museum and Newton Open Studios. This cultural center runs a number of children's programs throughout the year. Programs involve introducing the community's youngest citizens to the visual and performing arts. Teens may attend yoga classes taught by a certified instructor. Adult programs include performing arts and writing workshops. A complete list of organizations located at the Newton Cultural Center as well as program information and registration fees are available on the center's website. The center hosts an open house every year, showcasing its programs and services.
