More About Angier Elementary School
Located in the village of Waban, Angier Elementary School was founded in 1921 and named after a Waban resident, Albert Edgar Angier, who was killed in WW I. With just under 400 students, teachers and administrators at Angier call the school the "heart and soul" of Waban and and take pride in the supportive, warm and inclusive environment where academic excellence and student learning is a priority. Angier students who remain in the public school system matriculate to Brown Middle School and eventually Newton South High School.
The school is currently host to the city-wide integrated program for grades 2-5 and is also a neighborhood inclusion school. It is lead by Principal Loreta Lamberti.
Angier Elementary School is a short, three-minute walk from the Waban MBTA station (green line, D branch).
