Auburndale’s local retailers, restaurants and service providers by agreeing to
spend $10 at an Auburndale business of your choice.

At 10 a.m. the Newton
Needham Chamber of Commerce will be holding a press conference in front of Just
Next Door (327 Auburn St.) with Mayor Setti Warren and
other public officials to announce the kick-off of the a brand new Shop Local
for the Holidays campaign.

Immediately following the
press conference all attendees are encouraged to engage in a “cash mob.”
Similar to “flash mobs,” a cash mob is an event where a group of people gather
together but instead of singing a song or doing a dance, they agree to spend some
money.
