Ruck-Spin Productions is proud to present the Teddy Ruck-Spin DJ Academy. The Teddy Ruck-Spin DJ Academy offers 1 on 1 instruction on the fundamentals of DJ'ing to students of all ages.
In six weekly 1 hour lessons, students will learn how to mix, scratch and rock a party using professional DJ equipment. Students will have the opportunity to record their own 30 minute mix and perform it live for family and friends.
Lessons are held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the John M. Barry Boys & Girls Club of Newton, located at 675 Watertown St.

More About John M. Barry Boys & Girls Club of Newton
The city's Boys and Girls Club provides programs and activities for adolescents and teens. Kids ages six to 18 can come to the club after school and find a safe place to do homework, interact with friends and play games. The club features an art room and sports facilities, as well as a kitchen and dining area where some teen members prepare food to sell to their club peers. A full-time education teacher is available at the club for homework help. The club is located near public transportation.
