The Childhood Roots of Happiness
Enjoy hearing Dr. Edward M. Hallowell, NY Times bestselling author and world renowned speaker talk about issues of cognitive and emotional health in children and families on Tuesday, November 27 at 7:30pm. Held at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton. Geared for families with young children. Open to the entire community. All JCC arts and humanities offerings are programs of the Ryna Greenbaum JCC Center for the Arts. No charge for ELC families. Cost is $5/family for members, $10/families for nonmembers. More About Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center
Located on Nahanton Street in Newton, the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center offers fitness, arts, education, childcare and entertainment opportunities for members of all races, religions and ethnicities.
The center features a full gym, outdoor pool, tennis courts, locker rooms, cardio center, indoor track and rock climbing area. Classes, personal training and group fitness programs are offered. Regularly scheduled musical, dramatic and comedy performances take place in the center's theater.
