Tryout to be part of the premier youth baseball program in Metro West Boston

Philosophy

Here at Triple Crown we believe in developing our players through every aspect of the game. We use a combination of training techniques in our advanced baseball program. Utilizing our cross training and endurance programs have been extremely beneficial to all of our players. Developing agility, mechanics, and kinetics along with proper fundamentals is something we focus on throughout our training program until the beginning of our spring season. The team development will always be put ahead of the individual in our weekly training sessions. Triple Crown believes in developing each player individually, and we offer additional skills building programs and private lessons to all of our players.

Program

Training starts in September and will extend 30 weeks until the beginning of the baseball season. Each weekly training session will run for 2-3 hours. We will work on multiple different aspects to develop the kids:

Cross training and endurance

Mechanics and kinetics

Defensive situations and game awareness

Hitting and strengthening hand eye coordination

Pitching and catching

The spring season will consist of a similar schedule to the training schedule, however, practices will be adjusted to the game schedules. This means there will most likely be more practices as we gear up for tournaments and regular season play.
