DESCRIPTION:Don't hibernate this winter! Join us for an outside nature wa
 lk as we  observe plant and animal life while enjoying the beauty of the
  winter  landscape. We'll learn about the difference between deciduous a
 nd  evergreen trees and look for seeds from both\; investigate animal  h
 abitats and hope to see some animals themselves (or at least track  wher
 e they've been)\; discuss what the animals are eating and how they  surv
 ive in winter\; and look for evidence of birds\, including their  nests.
  Please bring a collecting bag for specimens you come across\, and  wear
  warm clothing and boots. Expect a different set of findings for  each o
 f our two sessions. If the weather looks questionable\, please call  the
  NCE office at 617-559-6999. Grades K-2\, alone or with an interested  p
 arent.
