5 Things: 'Gen Silent' Followup, Theater for Kids, Social Media Class

A few things you need to know for Wednesday, July 24, 2013, in Newton.

1. The Newton Senior Center today will host a follow-up discussion to its recent screening of "Gen Silent" to further explore what programming and support can be put in place for Newton's senior LGBT community. The discussion is scheduled from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

2. Original theater for children. The Wheelock Famly Theater Story Troupers will be at the Newton Free Library Wednesday at 10 a.m. to present an original piece for children ages 4 and up.

3. Also at the Newton Free Library today, there's a social media class designed to introduce students to social media and how it relates to today's world. The class is scheduled from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m

4. Have you checked out the Buy/Sell/Trade board lately? There are new items added to it everyday. Your next treasure could already be posted. 

5. ICYMI. those changes to Newton Centre's traffic pattern... yeah, they're going away.
