Arts Stroll & Shop, Play at Newton North, Shabbat Dinner

A few things you need to know for Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, in Newton.

1. The Street hosts Arts Stroll & Shop tonight from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and continues through the weekend. The holiday extravaganza designed to surprise and delight the senses while supporting the local community. See details here

2. Theatre Ink presents Bad Seed tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Little Theater at Newton North High School. In a small Southern town, little Rhoda Penmark rules the roost. On the surface she is sweet, charming, loved by her parents, and admired by all her elders. But Rhoda's mother has an uneasy feeling when one of Rhoda's schoolmates is mysteriously drowned.
