Author Talk, Girls Soccer in State Semi, Hula Hoop Demo for Kids
A few things you should know for Tuesday, Nov. 12 in Newton.
1. Author Joy Ladin will discuss her memoir Through the Door of Life: A Jewish Journey Between Genders at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton tonight at 7:30 p.m. See more here.
2. Newton North's girl's soccer team takes on Franklin in the state semifinal to night at 5 p.m. at Taunton High School.
3. Pinto from Pinto Bella Hoops will present a Hula Hoop demonstration and workshop at the library for grades 2 and up today at 2:30 p.m. at the Newton Free Library. Get more details here.
4. The Senior Center hosts an Intermediate Spanish group, which is intended for individuals with a basic understanding of Spanish. The class is today from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
5. The Newton Teen Think Tank meets at the Newton Free Library today at 5 p.m. It is a group made up of teens interested in contributing ideas and having a voice about teen library programs, services, collection, and more!
