Boys & Girls Club Auction, Girls Soccer in State Final, Shabbaton at Hebrew College

A few things you need to know for Friday, Nov. 15, in Newton.

1. The John M. Barry Boys & Girls Club of Newton’s 18th Annual Auction will be today at 6 p.m., at the Club, 675 Watertown St. The Annual Auction is our largest fundraising event, and we anticipate close to 300 supporters will join us. See more details here.

2. The Newton North girls' soccer team faces Minnechaug in the state final on Friday night at 5 p.m. at Worcester State University.

3. Community Meah Shabbaton will be held Friday afternoon through Saturday evening at Hebrew College. This new and dynamic event -- jointly sponsored by the Synagogue Council, Hebrew College and CJP -- offers fabulous learning, and the sense of community and great davening/worship (mechitza/traditional and egalitarian options) expected from a fulfilling Shabbat experience. 4. Newton Chiropractic and Wellness Centre (NCC) holding a Grand Opening at its new location with expanded services. Previously located next to the Chestnut Hill Mall, they have been proudly serving families in Newton and the surrounding areas for over 20 years. The event runs from noon to 2 p.m. today at 383 Elliot Street / Building F, Suite 250 / 2nd Floor. See more here.
