Flu Clinic, Music Program for Kids, Hanukkah Supper

A few things you need to know for Wednesday, Dec. 4, in Newton.

1. The City of Newton Health and Human Services Department will be having a community flu clinic on Wednesday from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Flu vaccinations will be available for ages 6 months and up. Please visit our website at www.newtonma.gov/flu for more information.

2. The Suzuki School of Newton is presenting a new interactive music program at the Newton Free Library, Musical Mornings at 10:30 a.m. Each 45 minute program for 2-5 year olds will feature singing, movement and an introduction to a musical instrument. 3. Come and enjoy a Hanukkah supper with fellow participants and alumni at Hebrew College on Wednesday at from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Then discover and discuss the deeper meaning of Hanukkah with PTJL instructors, while your children play and engage in Hanukkah-related activities. Find out more here.

4. The Aldermen's Public Facilities Committee meets tonight at 8 p.m. in City Hall. The board will discuss the Cabot School project and the Fire Station 3 (on Willow Street) and Fire Headquarters projects. See the whole agenda here.
