Free Museums, Electronics Recycling, Aly Raisman Update and More

A few things you need to know in Newton for Friday, Aug. 16, 2013.

1. This is it. Your final weekend to officially enjoy Crystal Lake. The beach will close on Sunday.

2. You have opportunities Friday and Saturday to drop off electronics at the Rumford Avenue Recycling Depot. Drop off your items from 8 a.m. to noon Aug. 16 and 17. There is a $12 fee for televisions and computer monitors, but all other items and devices are free.

3. The Concord Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art in Boston and the USS Constitution Museum are part of this week's Free Fun Friday.s

4. ICYMI. Olympian Aly Raisiman talked with Patch about her busy summer and what it takes to keep training hard.

5. It's Farmers' Market day at American Legion Post 440. Pick up fresh produce and local products and browse the Friday Finds yard sale section from noon to 5 p.m. today.
