Holiday Display Lighting, Superman Movie, Learn from CEOs

A few things you need to know for Wednesday, Nov. 20, in Newton.

1. The Street will kick off the holiday season with the debut of Luminescence, an awe-inspiring light installation created by the regionally acclaimed artist and sculptor Pandora LaCasse. It is comprised of 40, 900 LED bulbs and 72 whimsical spheres ranging from 20 to 45 inches in diameter.

2. The Newton Free Library will host a showing of "Man of Steel" at 6:30 p.m. Superman flies back onto the big screen in this action packed film starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane. 

3. The Atlantic Leaderpreneur Panel Series will be held at the Boston Marriott in Newton tonight from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. CEOs will share lessons learned from the journey of Entrepreneur to Leader. Find out more here.

4. Alderman Vicki Danberg visits the Newton Senior Center at 10 a.m. Have some coffee or tea and converse her during her monthly visit.
