Indoor Farmers Market, Author Talk, Bingo for Seniors

A few things you should know for Tuesday, Dec. 10 in Newton.

1. Check out the Indoor Farmers Market today from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hyde Community Center, 90 Lincoln St. in Newton. 

2. Journalist Ari Shavit will discuss his book My Promised Land: TheTriumph and Tragedy of Israel at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center, 333 Nahanton St. in Newton, today at 7:30 p.m. Find out more here.

3. Play bingo at the Newton Senior Center today from 1 p.m. to 2:40 p.m. 

4. The Newton Free Library hosts a discussion of a selection from the Great Books Foundation (most of which are available at the library) tonight at 7:15 p.m. This month they will discuss poetry selections from Four Quartets by T.S. Eliot. For more info call Abra Rosenzweig at 617-964-4064.
