Indoor Farmers Market, Award Winning Author Speaks, Teen Craft Time

A few things you need to know for Tuesday, Dec. 3, in Newton.

1. Check out the Indoor Farmers Market today from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hyde Community Center, 90 Lincoln St. in Newton.

2. Award-winning author, historian and journalist James Carroll (pictured) explores the life and work of acclaimed Christian theologian and Nazi resister Dietrich Bonhoeffer and his relevance to Christian-Jewish dialogue and action today. He will appear at Hebrew College in Newton today at 7:30 p.m. Find out more here.

3. The Newton Free Library hosts Teen Crafternoons today at 3:30 p.m. Drop b and make holiday cards to send to those who are staying in the hospital this holiday season.

4. Steve Richardson, Deputy Regional Communications Director of the Boston office of the Social Security Administration, will help attendees understand Social Security tonight at 7 p.m. at the Newton Free Library.
