2. The closing reception for Trees of My City - a multimedia installation by Newton artist Roberto Mighty examining the beauty and science of dormant, dead and decaying trees in Newton - will be held today at 5 p.m. at the Scandinavian Cultural Center, 206 Waltham St. in West Newton
