See The Folklorist Live, Farmers Market, Meet Alderman Linsky

1. Enjoy some live storytelling when NewTV's program The Folklorist will be performing at The Street's Summer Performance Series in Chestnut Hill today from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the green between Shake Shack and The Cottage.

2. Head to the Farmers Market at American Legion Post 440. 295 California St., today to get some fresh fruits and vegetables. The market runs from noon to 5 p.m.

3. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and chat with Alderman Stephen Linsky this morning at 8:30 at the Newton Senior Center, 345 Walnut St. in Newtonville.

4. Newton Country Day School will visit the Newton Senior Center to meet and share stories today at 10 a.m. The high school girls who will also be available to share some helpful hints on cell-phone (iPhone) technology and more.
