April 9th Artist Talk at Lasell College: Sculptor Deborah Baldizar

Sculptor Deborah Baldizar - an adjunct Professor of Art at Lasell College - will discuss her latest exhibit, Night Swimming, and the details of her creative process next week during a special program at the Wedeman Gallery in Lasell's Yamawaki Auditorium.

Challenging the fragility of paper, Baldizar’s cast paper figures range in size from miniature to larger than life.  Through her work, Baldizar attempts to capture the essence of the moment between the unknown and the known, exploring inner thoughts and eternal questions – the psychological predicaments of daily life.
