Belmont Savings Bank to sponsor the Cabot Fair

If you are looking for a fun family activity, be sure to stop by the Cabot Fair on May 31 at 229 Cabot Street in Newtonville. The event will take place from 10am - 4pm.

As part of the fair, Belmont Savings is delighted to sponsor the extreme obstacle course.  In addition, Belmont Savings will be giving away prizes via their interactive prize wheel and will be raffling off a gift card to Plaster Fun Time. Stop by the Belmont Savings table to participate and also to learn about how Belmont Savings is helping Newton Schools with the Newton Education Rewards Checking Account.

Belmont Savings Bank created a new checking account called Newton Education Rewards Checking.  For every Newton Education Rewards Checking Account that is opened at Belmont Savings Bank, the Bank will donate $50 to the Newton Schools Foundation.  The account holder will also get $50 put into their account free.  In addition, Belmont Savings Bank will donate 0.25% of all of the Education Rewards Account average balances annually to the NSF.

All Newton elementary school families are encouraged to attend the Cabot Fair. Other fun activities include snow cones, balloon animals, a Mario Kart Wii tournament, kiddie rides, a puppet show, a fortune teller and face painting. The event will happen rain or shine.

In September of 2013, Belmont Savings opened its Shaw’s Supermarket branch at 33 Austin Street in Newtonville. At the ribbon cutting, the bank presented its first $500 donation to the Newton Schools Foundation and just recently gave $5,000 to sponsor the Newton Schools Foundation’s Celebration of Excellence Gala.
