Boxygen Challenge

Saturday December 7, 2013 - Nonantum Boxing Club
The 3rd Boxygen Challenge was host of a drive to support the Second Step Program. The winners of the event Dan Kane in the mens competition and Jamie Lightfoot in the Womans  completed the Boxygen Challenge a top twenty intense competitors.
Boxygen is a high energy conditioning program which pushes athletes to great levels. Although the participants do not actually compete in the Boxing Ring, The Challenge enables the participants to experience a boxers quest for victory. Boxygen is the most innovative work out program for any amateur or professional athlete.
This program is touted by several Strength and conditioning Coaches from the Collegiate, Professional and Olympic Levels. So encompassing is this program that many Sports teams are incorporating The founder Eric Busa’s regime into their Strength and Conditioning programs. These professional and amateur athletes have shown tremendous improvements in their strength, endurance, flexibility and overall athletic confidence.
The real winners of “the Boxygen Challenge “ today is The Second Step Program. The Boxygen Challenge received sponsors for several gift items,  and donations to benefit The Second Step Program. The event helped raise over thousands of dollars of items and money to support The Second Step  , and more come in everyday as a result of the event. With each Boxygen challenge, money and awareness is raised through the efforts of the participants and the Boxygen chairman, Eric Busa. Together Boxygen and the Second Step Program aim to strengthen, and support survivors of domestic violence. Help us Knockout Domestic Violence.
It is not too late to contribute to this great cause. Please call The Nonantum Boxing Club (617) 340-3700 or email Eric Busa at ebusa22@comcast.net
